Eight of us decided to go to Mezcalito for dinner a few days ago. It seemed to be a very busy place with inside and outside dining. Outside dining was covered with I think heaters. Indoor dining was bustling with people. They have a bar as well with hard drinks, and cocktails. There was a dedicated drinks menu. I have posted the dinner menu in the pictures. Our group was happy with the food they ordered. I ordered Fajitas. For me it was a little bland and the Fajitas didn’t have any salt in it. Portions were big. Overall, I think food was above average. I would go and try another dish again for sure.

I have enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the attentiveness of the staff. I visit several times a week. The restaurant is clean, the servers are friendly. I’ve noticed how they work together as a team. The Managers make sure everything is to perfection. I’ve tried several dishes to find they are carefully prepared and delicious. 5 stars for sure.
This family restaurant provides a distinctive taste, particularly with their house-made chips and dip. The dishes are remarkable on their own too, featuring grilled chicken served in ample portions on every plate. If you enjoy this type of cuisine, this place is a fantastic alternative to others.
The food was really good! They have a pretty big drink menu, and I ordered their giant drink—it was great. The food tasted fresh, and the dessert was delicious too. Definitely worth a visit!
DELICIOUS & great service by Juan ( from Colombia) This is my third time coming to this place. Wanted to try it a few time before giving a review. Every single time the food was delicious and I can tell they use good quality ingredients. Being from Puerto Rico I had to try the plátano relleno which is a sweet plantain with super tender steak over a bed of black beans and melted cheese on top. If you like sweet plantains and black beans this is a must try. My husband ordered La Parillada and every single item was delicious. The flavors, tender steak, juicy flavorful chicken, ribs with a delicious sweet type bbq sauce, sausages tender and not dried, corn was so sweet. Definitely a plate that could be shared. Now out of the 3 times I have been there Juan was by far the best server I have had. Super attentive, kind, and recommended items in the menu. Next time we will be asking for him for sure.
The shredded chicken taco and cheesy quesadilla was okay. I wasn’t super impressed by the food. The service was pretty good, though! Our server was fairly attentive, and I was seated quickly after I told them I’d spent the whole day standing. The beans were better than most other places I’ve been.
Last week we stopped by Mezcalito in Apex. We’d been to their Morrisville location before, but this was our first time checking out the Apex spot. The overall design is pretty similar to the other one, but honestly, I felt like the Morrisville location had a more inviting, friendly vibe—just my personal take. Service was solid—everything came out fast, both the food and drinks. The atmosphere was nice too. Definitely feels more like a dinner spot with that evening vibe, rather than somewhere you’d hit up for lunch. As for the food—it was decent overall. Nothing bad, but my fajitas were kind of bland. Needed more salt, more pepper, more seasoning in general. I was a little surprised, because fajitas are usually super flavorful, but this time around they were just kinda flat.
This is a very nice place. There are some unique dishes. Everyone in our group of 7 enjoyed their meals. The portions are amazingly huge.
